Virginia Literacy Act
Division Literacy Plan
As required by the Virginia Literacy Act, each school division shall post, maintain, and update, as necessary, a copy of its division-wide literacy plan on its website. The FCPS Division Literacy Plan is designed to improve early literacy outcomes for children in kindergarten through 8th grade, and aligns with evidence-based instructional literacy practices and science-based reading research.

Reading Specialist Information
As required by the Virginia Literacy Act, each school division shall post the job description(s) for any reading specialist employed by the school division, as well as the contact information for those employed specialists.
