Clubs and Extracurriular Activities

National FFA Organization FFA teaches students to be leaders in their school and community while also emphasizing the importance of the agriculture industry.  We have monthly meetings, offer chances to compete in multiple events and offer members chances to develop leadership skills. Student must be in an Ag. class first or second semester to join.

FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America)

The mission of FCCLA is “To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.” Students must be in a FACS class first or second semester to join.

TSA (Technology Student Association)

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national, non-profit career and technical student organization (CTSO) of middle school and high school students who are engaged in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

Creative Writing Club

Creative Writing Club is open to students of all writing abilities who have an interest in creating fiction, nonfiction, scripts, and/or poetry.

MathCounts (Competitive Math Club)

MathCounts is open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders who enjoy math and problem solving. MathCounts is a competition club that prepares for a school competition in January to pick a 4 person school team for a Regional Competition in early February. Four additional alternates may also participate in the Regional competition.

A place to learn about businesses and leadership. Fundraising and community service are required. Open to all students in grade 6-8.

Applications are being accepted in Room 451. Open to students in grades 6-8, this is your chance to help create a memorable yearbook that captures all the highlights of the school year.

Running Club

Running Club’s goal is to improve our physical fitness, endurance, and run-times, while having fun and making friends.

This is a conditioning club open to those who like to run. The goal of the Spartans Running Club is to have fun while promoting fitness and instilling the values of hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Public Speaking Club (Forensics)

Forensics the public Speaking Club! This is a group of students who will compete in the County Forensics Competition. Students are judged on their ability to perform a 1-5 minute poem, skit, speech, or story…and possibly bring home gold medals for Aylor glory! Students in this club also help produce and read the Aylor AM Announcements.

Art Club

A club for students who have a serious passion for art! Students in this club will work to create an artwork to submit to the  Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition, the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.
